National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend Runs February 16-18
Fort Worth, TX—Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains is celebrating National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend February 16-18 by encouraging the public to purchase and donate cookies to Cookies for Heroes.
National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend highlights Girl Scout entrepreneurs across the United States who sell cookies to their families, friends, and communities via in-person booths, door-to-door activity, and Digital Cookie online platform.
Cookies For Heroes is a council-wide service project that brings a sweet gesture to the frontline heroes in our community. Participating is a great way for Girl Scouts to still collect proceeds on every package sold and be a part of a council-wide service project at the same time.
Throughout the Girl Scout Cookie Program, Girl Scouts ask customers to purchase additional packages of cookies to be donated to those who work hard in keeping our community safe, healthy, and running smoothly. Last year, during the 2023 Cookie Program, more than 22,000 cookie packages were donated through Cookies for Heroes.

- Visit gs-strong.org/findcookies to find Cookies near you.
- Don’t want to take the cookies home, but want to support Girl Scouts? Stop by any Cookie Booth and donate to Cookies for Heroes. Girl Scouts will make sure your cookie purchase is donated to a first responder in their area.
Girl Scouts in grades K–12 can start their journey to fun, friendship, and new experiences by joining the world's largest entrepreneurial organization for girls at any point in the year. Girls can join and adults can become volunteers at www.gs-top.org/join.
