Life on Travel Trips

We recommend talking to your girls about what the travel experiences will look like, so they are prepared for this next step towards independent travel.

While girls are allowed to bring their phones on trips for emergencies, we expect them to stay off of their phones for the majority of the time. GSTOP is not responsible for the damage or loss of personal items.

On most trips, girls will spend much of their time walking outdoors in the summer heat. Girls should be prepared for the weather.

Girls heading on High Adventure Trips with water sports need to be proficient swimmers.

Girls heading on High Adventure Trips with outdoor camping need to be able to set up tents and have had previous experience tent camping.

While we try to plan for all possibilities, sometimes dangerous weather such as lightning can keep us from certain activities. GSTOP will always put the safety of the girls first.

GSUSA Sponsored Trips

Girl Scouts love to travel—from the field trips they take as Brownies to the global adventures they go on as teens. If you love exploring different places and cultures, then Girl Scouts is the place for you.
