Life on Travel Trips
We recommend talking to your girls about what the travel experiences
will look like, so they are prepared for this next step towards
While girls are allowed to bring their phones on trips for
emergencies, we expect them to stay off of their phones for the
majority of the time. GSTOP is not responsible for the damage or loss
of personal items.
On most trips, girls will spend much of their time walking outdoors
in the summer heat. Girls should be prepared for the weather.

While we try to plan for all possibilities, sometimes dangerous
weather such as lightning can keep us from certain activities. GSTOP
will always put the safety of the girls first.
Girl Scouts love to travel—from the field trips they take as
Brownies to the global adventures they go on as teens. If you
love exploring different places and cultures, then Girl Scouts is the
place for you.
You can experience all that our country has to offer, whether you’re
“blasting off” at Space Camp in Alabama, taking in
a Broadway show in New York City, or visiting the birthplace
of Girl Scouts’ founder, Juliette Gordon Low, in Savannah, Georgia.

Using Cookie Bucks for GSUSA Destinations
GSTOP Cookie Bucks may be used to cover 50% of the cost of a GSUSA
Destinations trip. The other half of the trip, including
transportation to and from the originating destination, is covered by
the Girl Scout. A cookie package value equals $1 for GSUSA Destination trips.
Cookie Bucks may also be banked for up to three years for all travel
opportunities. You must request banking of Cookie Bucks through GSTOP Customer Care prior to September 17, 2022.
