Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors will work toward earning their Art and Design badges while discovering the inspiring stories and artistic contributions of pioneering Hispanic women in fashion design, painting, and sculpture. Girls will learn about women who broke barriers and made their mark in the arts, then put inspiration into action as they try their hand at each medium. From designing fashion-inspired creations to painting and sculpting, girls will experiment with different artistic techniques and create unique works of their own. Come ready to learn, create, celebrate, and let your creativity shine! Girls will: Discover the stories and accomplishments of inspiring Hispanic women in the arts. Explore fashion design, painting, and sculpture. Experiment with different artistic techniques and materials. Create their own original works of art. Work toward completing requirements for their Art and Design badges. Celebrate the creativity, culture, and contributions of Hispanic artists and designers. *Badges will be provided **This is not a drop off event! Parents/leaders must atend to ensure safety-wise ratios.
