Join us for an exciting Geocaching Badge Event where adventure meets the outdoors! We'll kick things off at the Lubbock Girl Scout Council Office for a fun, hands-on classroom session (about 1 hour). Girls will learn the basics of Geocaching-how to use GPS, read coordinates, and understand the rules of the game. After that, we'll head over to Henry Huneke Park (you will be responsible for driving your girls) to put our new skills to the test and hunt for real Geocaches! This is a great opportunity for girls to explore, problem-solve, and enjoy the outdoors while working toward their Geocaching Badge. Note: this is not a drop off program. Girls must be supervised by their Girl Scout Safety Activity Checkpoint ratio adults who have a cleared CBC on file with GSTOP and have completed the Child Abuse Training with GSTOP. What to bring: comfortable walking shoes, water bottle, and a sense of adventure! Come ready to learn, explore, and discover hidden treasures! 🧭
