Join STEM the Gap Academy for a 90-minute online workshop and earn your Cybersecurity Basics Badge 1 for Daisies. Designed with empowerment at its core, this session helps girls build confidence as they begin to understand the digital world around them. Participants will get to know their computers and everyday devices in a way that feels approachable and engaging. Through guided activities, they will learn simple but important ways to stay safe while playing, learning, and exploring online. From recognizing what information is safe to share to understanding how to make smart choices on the internet, girls begin to develop practical digital awareness they can use right away. This workshop is about more than safety. It is about helping girls feel capable. As they learn, they are encouraged to trust their thinking, ask questions, and make decisions with confidence. The focus is on giving them a sense of control and understanding, so they feel prepared rather than unsure when navigating online spaces.
