This is a 2 part training. You must register and attend both sessions. The Zoom Session is on 10/13/26 @ 7-9 pm.
Take your backpacking skills to the next level and prepare to lead more challenging Girl Scout adventures. Advanced Backpacking builds on foundational backpacking skills with a focus on planning and managing longer or more complex trips, navigating varied terrain, managing group logistics, advanced meal and water planning, risk management, emergency preparedness, and adapting to changing trail and weather conditions. Participants will strengthen their ability to make informed decisions, solve problems in the backcountry, and confidently support safe, successful backpacking experiences for their troop.
