This is a 2 part training: Both parts are required in order to complete training requirements.
Part 1 Virtual: 4/21/26 6:30pm-8:30pm
Part 2 Camping and
Hiking: 5/1-3/26 6pm-11am
You will learn how to live from your backpack, in a hiking intense weekend, styles of hiking, leadership dynamics, and much more. Must attend one In-town session and one camping session. One time fee for both sessions, plus entrance fees to the state park. Must be able to carry backpack.
Prerequisites: must complete Outdoor 101, Cabin Camping, Tents, and Beginning Backpacking. Group will determine in first session where they camp and backpacking for part 2.
