New Outdoor Training at Camp Timberlake Prepare for the unexpected with this fun, hands-on introduction to wilderness medicine, taught over two days, May 30-June 1. Attendance both days is required. This course is great for people of all experience levels and is best suited for those who work and play outdoors where EMS response time can be expected in more that 30 minutes but fewer than eight hours. This course is strongly recommended for adults who take their troops camping, hiking, backpacking, or traveling. You will learn in the classroom and outdoor settings, regardless of weather, so come prepared for Texas weather. Senior and Ambassador Girl Scouts who are attending a High Adventure Trip this summer may also register. Adult CPR/AED certification is required to attend the training. Not certified? Register for the Friday evening CPR/AED certification session.

Cost: $90 Wilderness and Remote First Aid only (Saturday and Sunday) $55 for CPR/AED only (Friday) $140 for CPR/AED and Wilderness and Remote First Aid (Friday - Sunday).  Lunch, dinner, and snacks are provided on Saturday.
