Volunteer Kick-Off is now Volunteer Leadership Summit (VLS)! The 2022 VLS theme is “Creating Your Future One Adventure at a Time.”

All registered adult members are invited to join us for this one-day volunteer training on Saturday, August 13, to prepare you for an amazing Girl Scout year. VLS is the leading educational event for current and emerging volunteers for Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains. The summit will provide an opportunity to learn from top-level speakers, trainers, and leaders who are outstanding in their fields.

The summit is made possible through partnerships with GSTOP. We are proud to announce for 2022, the Volunteer Leadership Summit will be at no cost to the first 250 registered adult members.

New unforeseen challenges continue to arise as we adjust and reengage volunteers and girls in the Movement. The need of the 21st Century girl has evolved and requires us to move forward with adaptability and ingenuity. Through this summit, we hope to lead GSTOP volunteers into a world where challenges are reframed into possibilities by leaning into them with courage, confidence, and character.

We are offering 6 workshops, a keynote, plated recognition luncheon, a plethora of vendors, and you don’t want to miss the Vintage Girl Scout Freebie Table.
