2024 Women of Distinction Honorees
Fort Worth, TX - Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains is pleased to announce this year's Women of Distinction honorees. Each of the five honorees serve as an example to our Girl Scouts by modeling the positive change that our Girl Scouts can make in the world.
This year's honorees are:
- Rising Star - Molly Schmid, Senior Girl Scout
- Outstanding Community Partner - Pioneer Natural Resources
- Man Enough to Be a Girl Scout - Steven D. Morris, Theatre Arlington, Executive Producer
- Lifetime Achievement - Debra Finney, Lifetime Girl Scout, Alum, & Ambassador
- Woman of Distinction - Sandra Maria Garcia, BNSF, Public Affairs Manager
Each year, Girl Scouts' Women of Distinction volunteer committee selects honorees through an open nomination process. This year's honorees highlight the extraordinary work being done across our area in support of female leadership, especially through Girl Scouting.
"I am thrilled with the selection of this year's honorees as we honor their dedication to service and leadership," says Becky Burton, Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains ceo. "The committee has selected a wonderful group of purpose-driven leaders in our community."
