When girls guide or teach others, they act as mentors. One way a girl can be a teen mentor is to become a Volunteer in Training (VIT) to deepen their understanding of what leadership development means and get excited about guiding others. While learning how to be a champion mentor, girls will be able to deliver fun with purpose to younger Girl Scouts. Note: to earn the VIT award, girls will need to arrange a hands-on volunteer opportunity to complete their training. For questions, contact Megan.
