Join your fellow Arlington-area Girl Scouts for a matinee of Texas Ballet Theater's "The Nutcracker" at Bass Hall . The Nutcracker A Vision of Merriment and Delight Since its first performance in 1892, Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker has evoked the wonder and joy of the holiday season. You will want to make Ben Stevenson's spectacular production of this perennial favorite part of your holiday tradition. Our production of The Nutcracker is approximately two hours, including one 20-minute intermission.
