Lubbock high school students, parents, troop leaders and volunteers - this in-person STEM Careers Exploration with Texas Tech is just for you! The Raiders are mixing a dash of STEM, a tablespoon of college readiness and whoppin' dollop of career exploration to bring you the Early Dedication to Medical Education program.

The Early Dedication to Medical Education (EDME) is designed to expose individuals to the possibilities of a career in medicine. Anyone interested in becoming a physician is welcome - high school students, parents, troop leaders and volunteers!

EDME in-person sessions are hosted on campus at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) throughout the school year. These sessions include monthly presentations on different topics designed to help participants along their journey to medicine.

EDME sessions will be held from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Please plan on arrive 10 minutes early to check-in with Council. Sessions will be held in-person at TTUHSC. Information regarding parking, address of building, location of classroom, etc., will be sent after registration closes.

Program is at NO COST to participants.

Council will need one volunteer to assist with check-in for enrolled Girl Scouts. If you are available to assist, please contact Megan McBurnett.

Lastly, any girl that attends this or any other session is able to earn their STEM Careers Exploration badge. Please go to your local shop to purchase after the event.
