Girl Scouts Love State Parks is a national event that highlights a deep partnership between Girl Scouts and state parks in all 50 states. Since 2019, Girl Scouts and their families from nearly every council celebrate this event in over 400 state parks, across 50 states and Puerto Rico. Join us at Palo Duro Canyon State Park as we enjoy a guided hike by a Park Ranger along the scenic Pioneer Trail of the Canyon. The Ranger will talk to us about flora and fauna and Palo Duro history. Learn why Palo Duro is important and why we should care about preserving it. Bring your sack lunch and water bottle to enjoy a picnic lunch at the park after the hike. Girls will receive an official GS Loves State Parks Patch. More details will be sent at registration closing in a confirmation email.
