Working Together to Keep Our Community Healthy - GS-TOP Covid-19 Response

corona-virus

At Girl Scouts, there is nothing we take more seriously than the safety and wellbeing of our girls, volunteers, and council staff. Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains will take all possible and appropriate measures to ensure girls continue to have a safe, fun, one-of-a-kind experience at Girl Scouts. We encourage volunteers, caregivers, and girls to use their best judgement when participating in community events and activities and to follow all health and safety guidance from Girl Scouts and other official sources.

We recommend that members regularly visit the Centers for Disease Control website for updated information on preventative measures when out in public.

GS-TOP is closely monitoring the COVID-19 updates from the Centers of Disease Control, the World Health Organization, and the local public health departments for each of the 81 counties within our council borders. We will continue to post updates as the situation changes.

Self-protection and self-monitoring is the best protection.

Take precautions and develop and maintain healthy routines to help minimize your risk of contracting and spreading any virus.
