State of Texas Gold Award Scholarship:

Girl Scouts of the USA has compiled a list of universities/colleges, foundations, and Girl Scout councils that offer scholarships, awards, and grants to Girl Scouts. This list can be accessed here.
The State of Texas offers a scholarship to girls who have earned the Gold Award and are graduating high school. Applications are available in late spring and are mailed to each graduating Girl Scout Ambassador who has earned the Gold Award and filed a final report with their Council office. Alcoa Chuck McLane Gold Award Scholarship:
DUE February 21, 2017 Awarded nationally to two Girl Scout Gold Award recipients who complete a Gold Award project related to Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM). This application qualifies Girl Scout Gold Award Recipients, who are starting college in the fall, to be considered for the STEM $10,000 college scholarship provided by Alcoa Foundation. Texas Elks State Association for Gold Award Recipients:
DUE March 15, 2017 The Texas Elks State Association awards a $2,500 scholarship annually to one 2016 Texas graduating senior who has earned the Girl Scout Gold Award. The 2017 scholarship must be used at a Texas college, university or trade/vocational school during the 2017-2018 school year. Application.
Build-A-Bear Workshop Huggable Heroes:
This program recognizes kids – ages 8 to 18 – who provide extraordinary service to their communities or the world. Do you know someone who’s always working to make a difference? Nominate them for the Build-A-Bear Workshop Huggable Heroes program!
Chesapeake Scholars Program:
For students from rural areas where Chesapeake operates. Scholarships are also awarded to students pursuing higher education in communities where we operate. Chesapeake Energy (for Fort Worth ISD and Johnson County students)
Do Something Seed Grants:
Are you working to start a community action project or program with your friends? A $500 Do Something Seed Grant is given out every week to help young people just like YOU! These grants can be used towards project ideas and programs that are just getting started, or to jump-start your program and realize your ideas for the first time.
Elks National Foundation:
Elks National Foundation offers a scholarship opportunity through their Most Valuable Student scholarship.
Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Annual Scholarship:
