Some of our cities require city permits for door-to-door sales. 2023 city permits will be downloadable prior to the start of the Cookie Program and should be printed and kept with you, if your girl is selling door-to-door in a city that requires a permit, in case a customer asks for verification.

National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend

National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend 2023 will take place February 17-19.

During this weekend, Girl Scouts across the nation band together to speak as a single, powerful voice to raise awareness of the Girl Scout Cookie Program and to drive cookie sales.

Troop Cookie Chairs are required to complete the Troop Cookie Chair Responsibility Agreement Form to work with the Troop Leadership team to promote, coordinate, and direct the troop cookie program as well as manage the troop’s participation in the cookie program. Keep In Touch

We are once again using the TEAM APP to provide Troop Cookie Chairs and Service Unit Cookie Chairs with "must-know" information throughout the Cookie Program. We can also post PDF forms and videos in this app to help make your job easier!  We know you are busy, and you might have taken Cookie Training a month or two before the sale starts. We want to provide you with tools to help you have a successful, less frustrating Cookie Program.

Diva Club

The Diva Club is for Girl Scouts who sell a specific amount of packages of cookies during one cookie season. These cookie bosses earn a special Diva patch and have an opportunity to go on a special trip that is both exciting and fun all while supporting girl programming.

Girls can attend the 2023 Diva event for their area by selling a minimum of 1,650 packages of cookies during the 2023 Cookie Program.

Cookie Bucks

Cookie Bucks are earned based on the number of packages sold and can be used to pay for GSTOP summer resident and day camp, GSTOP Travel and partner travel programs, annual girl membership, or for merchandise in GSTOP retail shops.

General Information

How can Cookie Bucks be used?

Cookie Bucks can be used on GSTOP summer residential and day camp, GSTOP travel, GSTOP travel through EF Tours, for Girl Membership Renewal, in the GSTOP Retail Shop, and in the GSUSA online shop (restrictions apply). Once a Girl Scout has sold 135 cookie packages, she is eligible for Cookie Bucks based upon the number of cookie packages she sells during the year's cookie program. 

How are Cookie Bucks valued?

Cookie Bucks have no cash value.  If a girl sold a minimum of 135 cookie packages during the 2022 Cookie Season, she can use any remaining Cookie Bucks for summer adventure programs or to renew her Girl Scout membership.

Can we transfer Cookie Bucks from one sister to another to help cover membership or activity fees?

Yes. Families may transfer Cookie Bucks from one sister to another for a one-time transfer to help cover membership and event fees; however, both sisters must have participated in the 2022 Girl Scout Cookie Program to be eligible for transfers.

Can my girl use Cookie Bucks for activities offered by outside program providers?

No, with one exception. Girls may use Cookie Bucks for programs offered at the STEM Center of  Excellence in partnership with Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas. (The Girl Scout must register through GSTOP.)

Can I renew my girl’s membership with Cookie Bucks?

Yes. When you register for 2023, there is an option to utilize your Cookie Bucks to pay for a girl's membership. 

To qualify for this offer, your girl must:

  • Be a current girl member of Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains (2021-22 membership year).
  • Have sold at least 135 packages of cookies in the 2022 Girl Scout Cookie Program.
  • Renew by September 17, 2022.

Membership renewal is 50 cookie packages for the 2022-2023 membership year.

Can a troop leader use Cookie Bucks to renew a troop or pay for troop trips/activities?

No. Cookie Bucks are calculated per girl and cannot be used to renew a troop or for troop purchases.

Can Cookie Bucks be used for adult membership renewal or event fees?

No. Cookie Bucks are not applicable toward fees for adult participation in Girl Scout events or adult membership renewal.

How can my girl use her Cookie Bucks if she is in her last year of Girl Scouts?

Girl Scouts can use 400 cookie packages to pay for a lifetime membership. Contact Customer Care at customercare@gs-top.org or 800.582.7272 for details.

GSTOP Summer Adventures

How are Cookie Bucks valued and used for Summer Travel, Camp, and Program?

Cookie Bucks have no cash value. The chart below outlines the number of packages required for different activities:

2023 Girl Scout membership (must renew by September 17, 2022).  50 packages
Resident camp at Stevens Ranch and STEM Center of Excellence 160 packages per day
Horse camp add on for camps at Stevens Ranch additional 140 packages per week

High Adventure Trips Varies per trip

If you cancel more than 14 days before the start date of your program event, you will receive a 100% refund of Cookie Bucks that have to be used before the expiration 9/17/22. If you cancel 14 days or less from the start of the program event , you forfeit any Cookie Bucks used to pay for the program.


GSTOP Travel Program

What is the minimum amount of cookie bucks my Girl Scout needs to be able to bank them for a travel trip?

To bank cookie bucks for a travel trip your Girl Scout must have a minimum of 50% of the total packages needed for the travel trip.  Please notify customer care at cusotmercare@gs-top.org if you would like to bank.

Are Cookie Bucks automatically banked on your girl's behalf?

No. The parent/guardian is required to notify customer care via email at customercare@gs-top.org by September 17, 2022, if their Girl Scout is wanting to bank Cookie Bucks for a future GSTOP travel opportunity. Cookie Bucks may be banked for up to three years for travel opportunities with GSTOP.

Can Cookie Bucks be transferred in the GSTOP Travel Program—from one travel event to another?

Girls who banked Cookie Bucks in 2021 for the GSTOP Travel Program in 2022 will be able to transfer their Cookie Bucks one time to another travel or camp event in 2022.

If I pay for a trip up-front, can I get a refund if my Girl Scout earns at least 50% of the required Cookie Bucks required for GSTOP Travel?

Yes. If you wish to utilize Cookie Bucks for a GSTOP Travel Trip, you must notify customercare@gs-top.org at least 14 days prior the the deadline for trip payment to request a refund based upon available Cookie Bucks. Proof of payment for refund is required. Deposits are non-refundable.

If a girl does not earn enough Cookie Bucks to cover the cost of the entire GSTOP Travel trip, does she have the ability to pay the difference?

Yes. A girl must have at least 50% of the Cookie Bucks required to use Cookie Bucks for a travel trip and may pay the difference for the rest of the trip. Trips may also be paid in full without using Cookie Bucks. Cost per trip varies. Contact customercare@gs-top.org to make the inquiry. 

If a deposit is paid for Partner GSTOP Travel through EF Tours, will you receive a refund?

No.  EF Tours requires a one-time non-refundable deposit.

How do I utilize Cookie Bucks for a GSTOP trip through EF Tours?

At least 50% of the trip must be covered by Cookie Bucks in order to utilize Cookie Bucks. Cookie Bucks may be applied to EF Tour trips before payments are made for the trip. Contact customercare@gs-top.org to request cookie buck application.

When will my Cookie Bucks show credited to my EF Tours account?

Cookie Buck payments made by GSTOP will be made twice per year, reflecting in your account once processed. Estimated timeframes are May and November.

What are the GSTOP Partner Travel opportunities through EF Tours for 2022 & 2023?

Savannah, GA for 2023 and Belize for 2024

GSTOP Residential and Day Camps

If a deposit is paid for GSTOP Camp, will you be able to get your deposit refunded once Cookie Bucks are available?

No. Deposits are non-refundable for GSTOP Camps.

With camp registration opening January 31 before cookie season ends, how does my girl utilize her cookie bucks for camp sessions?

Cookie bucks will be credited to any session reserved for the 2022 summer by mid-April.

How does my Girl Scout utilize her Cookie Bucks for the STEM Center of Excellence through Girl Scouts Northeast Texas?

Each day of overnight summer or troop camp equals 160 packages.

Each day of day camp equals 125 packages.

Visit stemcenter.gsnetx.org to view available sessions. Once you have found a session you wish to attend, reach out to customercare@gs-top.org with session name and that you would like to utilize your Cookie Bucks for the session.

GSTOP Summer Program

Girl Scouts can utilize their Cookie Bucks for Summer Programs at Camp Kiwanis during the summer of 2022.  With horse, ropes, and outdoor activities throughout the summer, there is something for everyone. 

 

GSUSA Destinations

GSTOP Cookie Bucks may be used to cover 50% of the cost of a GSUSA Destinations trip. The other half of the trip, including transportation to and from the originating destination, is covered by the Girl Scout. A cookie package value equals $1 for GSUSA Destination trips.

Cookie Bucks may also be banked for up to three years for all travel opportunities. You must request banking of Cookie Bucks through GSTOP Customer Care prior to September 17, 2022.

GSTOP Retail Shops

How are Cookie Bucks valued for retail purchases?

Girls who have at least 135 packages remaining after applying Cookie Bucks toward membership or activity fees may convert them to Cookie Bucks for use in GSTOP retail shops. The chart below outlines the conversion of Cookie Bucks for retail purchases:

September 17, 2022: Cookie Bucks Blowout event at all GSTOP Retail Shops. This is the last day to utilize 2022 Cookie Bucks.

Online Shop

Want to use Cookie Bucks to purchase something from the online shop? 

Simply complete this form to place your order, and a GSTOP retail team member will reach out to finalize your order using Cookie Bucks within 72 hours of submission. 

Cookie Bucks do not work directly through the GSUSA online shop. 

Online cookie bucks usage ends August 31, 2022, at 11:59 p.m.
NOTE: This is different than in-shop cookie bucks usage.    

Cookie Bucks and Camp/Travel Trip Cancellations

What happens to Cookie Bucks if you choose to cancel your registration for your travel, camp, or summer program experience?

Travel:

If you cancel more than 30 days (60 days for the Disney Trip) before the departure date of your travel trip, you will be able to transfer your Cookie Bucks to another trip or bank current year Cookie Bucks toward a future GSTOP travel trip.  If you have banked Cookie Bucks from a previous year, those Cookie Bucks will be forfeited if not transferred for a current year trip. 

If you cancel 30 days (60 days for the Disney Trip) or less from the departure date of your trip, you forfeit any Cookie Bucks used to pay for the trip as well as the nonrefundable deposit. 

Transferring or banking Cookie Bucks for another trip, in conjunction with cancellations, does not include the nonrefundable/nontransferable deposit if cancelled trip was paid in full with Cookie Bucks or by personal payment.

Camp:

If you cancel more than 14 days before the start date of your camp session, you will receive a 100% refund of Cookie Bucks outside of your nonrefundable/nontransferable deposit.

If you cancel 14 days or less from the start of your camp session, you forfeit any Cookie Bucks used to pay for the canceled camp session as well as the nonrefundable/nontransferable deposit. 

Summer Program at Camp Kiwanis:

If you cancel more than 14 days before the start date of your program event, you will receive a 100% refund of Cookie Bucks that have to be used before the expiration September 17, 2022.

If you cancel 14 days or less from the start of the program event , you forfeit any Cookie Bucks used to pay for the program.

Cookies for Heroes

Cookies for Heroes

Cookie’s For Heroes is a council service project that brings a sweet gesture to the frontline heroes in our community.

Girls can collect donations during booth sales or take donation orders on their order cards. Having a donation jar for spare change and creating fun posters talking about Cookies for Heroes are easy ways to get the word out.

Participating is a great way for girls to still collect proceeds on every package sold and be a part of a council-wide service project! Girls who participate are eligible for the NEW Cookies for Heroes fun patch, available now in the GSTOP Shops.

Unique Logistics (C,S,A level program)

Have you ever wondered how you and your troop receive all your cookies during the cookie program. The Journey of the Girl Scout cookie is a great chain that connect the council,baker,troops and girls. This Program will take you through the cookie life cycle from when it is baked to being eaten by a customer. Girls will be able to get the inside scoop of our council warehouses and hear from women who have had wonderful careers in Supply Chain management and learn the ins and out of how inventory is managed. Girls will earn a special Unique Logistics patch.

This program will be divided into three meetings and will include every girl to sign up for a council cupboard hour.
