Community Partnerships
Girl Scouts at School (GSAS)
GSAS provides staff-led quality programming for girls during or after school making the Girl Scouts Leadership Experience program accessible. Through school-based troop experiences, girls participate in troop meetings, service projects, and product program activities, including the annual Girl Scout Cookie Sale. Troops are formed by grade level and earn badges and awards based upon their learning experiences. Girls learn to be go-getters, innovators, risk-takers and leaders while building courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place. Annually, Girl Scouts at School serves more than 6,500 girls in Fort Worth, Arlington, Everman, Crowley, Lubbock, and Amarillo areas.

Youth Enjoying Summer (YES!)
YES! provides Girl Scout programming during the summer with one to two week programs in partnership wtih youth-serving agencies. YES! activities are centered on three major components: education, arts and crafts, and physical fitness. Activities are done cooperatively, with youth learning from their peers and supported by caring adults who guide them, while allowing for hands-on, youth-led experiences. These experiences reinforce their knowledge of self; self-esteem; leadership; and life skills that are critical to their futures.
