Quick Start 0.9: Council Communications Tools

GS-TOP events and information will be promoted in the most appropriate communications tools. We seek to share information with our membership that is both timely and relevant to the intended audience.

The Runner - eNewsletter for volunteers emailed monthly and available at www.gs-top.org/email-newsletters.

Content is focused toward updating volunteers with information about upcoming activities, programs, service opportunities and general council information.

The Girl Scout Spirit - Newsletter for donors and friends mailed quarterly and available at www.gs-top.org/email-newsletters.

This publication updates members, friends and donors on activities and accomplishments for the previous quarter. The publication may also promote upcoming fund development events. Each edition lists donors who have given in the quarter prior to publication. Some special publications of the The Girl Scout Spirit may highlight activities from the entire past year, for example recognizing all Gold Award recipients.
