Horseback Riding: Approved Sites
Only the sites listed on the chart below currently meet Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains standards for insurance coverage and instructor certification. Horseback riding is not recommended for Daisies and Brownies. Check Safety Activity Checkpoints for activity checkpoints. Waivers are required. Council permission is required for a high risk activity. Call for rates according to desired program and to schedule visits. Any contracts required/provided by these providers must be forwarded to Council for the proper signature.

Horses of Course
Horses of Course is a program offered to girls to introduce them to horses. While getting to know horses they learn how to be safe around them and have a good time doing it.
