Other GS-TOP Campsites

These sites are availble for Troop Camping

Camp Boothe Oaks – located on 73 acres 10 miles southwest of Sweetwater. Available for special events and for troop camping in cabins. It includes modern bathhouses with showers and hot water, and a large dining facility. Available March through November. Closed in winter.


Camp Mel Davis – located east of Pampa/Lefors. The camp has one heated building and a kitchen with running water (no water in winter). There are three cooking shelters and two latrines. No phone available.

 

Morrison Lodge – located on 5.5 wooded acres on the banks of Fossil Creek, Morrison Lodge gives you the feeling of being in the country when, in fact, you are still in the city. Located in Haltom City, this site is easily accessible for day trips and troop camping. The Lodge is especially suitable for inexperienced campers, offering a large central activity room, indoor plumbing, kitchen, and outdoor fire-circles. Open year-round.
