Early Bird Registration

It’s Early Bird Registration Time!

toucan-on-a-branchYou "Tou-Can" register early for the 2010 membership year! Early Bird registration begins April 1 and ends June 15. Every girl who re-registers, as a Juliette or with a troop, for the 2010 Girl Scout membership year by June 15, 2009 will be eligible to receive an Early Bird toucan patch.

To qualify for the Early Bird patch each Troop will need to register at least two unrelated adults, and five girls, and then submit those registrations along with membership dues paid in full. Troop funds may be applied toward membership dues.

Packets will be available from your local Service Unit Registrar or Membership Specialist beginning in April. Keep an eye out for your Early Bird packet so you "Tou-Can" register early!

Membership Info

Girl Scouts have fun, make friends and discover new places. If you’re a girl – you can, too!

Our members enjoy a variety of fun, exciting and enriching activities. These events are designed to provide safe, wholesome and fun opportunities for growth through decision-making, participation and cooperation. By meeting in small groups, with caring and nurturing adult leaders, girls are provided the environment and attention they need to learn and develop the skills and self-esteem they need for success in the real world.

You do not have to be in a troop to be a Girl Scout. Find out about Juliette Girl Scouts.

Who can be a Girl Scout?

You can! Like to have fun? Want to make new friends? Girl Scouts welcomes all girls, ages 5 to 17 and grades Kindergarten through 12, who accept the codes of character and conduct of the Girl Scout Promise and Law.

How much does it cost?

Less than a pizza! Annual membership dues are only $10. Each troop of girls sets their own dues – most are less than $1 a meeting – and additional activity fees are always inexpensive. Uniforms are not required, and financial assistance is available.
