Troop Fall Product Chair Training - Snyder

As Troop Fall Product Chair, you will lead the girls and parents through this quick and easy order taking sale!  This training will give you everything you need to know to be successful.  Come get all the tools to be successful leading the sale with your troop.

If this is your first time in this position, no worries!  This training will make it easy as pie!

Troop Cookie Chair Training-Sweetwater

This training is essential for the volunteer who will be managing the cookie sale for the troop.  Learn all about the cookie sale:  how to involve parents and girls, how to manage cookie inventory at the troop level to have a successful sale, what booth sales are and how they work, managing money, and using the SNAP software to manage the sale.

Tent Camping

In this course you will learn how to put up, storm lash, take down, and choose tents.  You will also learn sites to camp at, both Council facilities and others.  You will have the opportunity to experiment with various types of tents.  Participants will need to bring their Outdoor Education in Girl Scouting book.

Requisite: Must have completed Cabin Camping.

Cabin Camping is offered in conjunction with this course, please register separately.

Cabin Camping

After this overnight class you will feel comfortable taking your troop on an overnight camping experience!  You will learn fire building safety, menu & activity planning, proper care of equipment, knots and the basic concept of Leave No Trace.  

                          Participants will need to bring:

                          Outdoor Education in Girl Scouting book and other resources they received at Outdoor 101

                          Overnight Supplies including bedding, a flashlight and camping clothing.
