New Member Orientation - North Richland Hills

This class will teach you the parts of a troop meeting, where to find the resources you will need to help you with your troop, and the “how to” of Girl Scouts.  You will also learn the rules and regulations, those you will need immediately to hold your first troop meeting and those you will need in the future for troop activities, day trips and camping trips.  You will learn about the training that is available to equip you as a troop leader.

Leadership Essentials/Journeys - Keller

This course provides an introduction/overview to the National Program Portfolio. Participants will be guided through the Leadership Experience, which is the heart of the Girl Scout program. Participants will learn how the Journey books and Girl Guides can be used with and by the girls. Highly recommended for troop leaders/assistants

PB&J

Are you a Daisy or Brownie Troop Leader?  This is the Funshop for you!  Learn tips and tricks on how to deliver the Journey Program to your troop with less stress for you and more fun for them. You will learn how to make the Journey Program come alive for the girls and leave them craving more P, B and J.

Leaders can bring along their Girl Scout daughters (in grades K - 3 only, please) who will enjoy sample P, B & J fun while leaders are in the Funshop for adults.  Limited space is available to accomodate girl participants.  First come, first served.
