About Girl Scouts

First Aid CPR Update

All Girl Scout troops need a first aider, a person that has completed Girl Scout approved First Aid & CPR training. Some first aid offerings are provided online by approved sponsoring organizations and include a face-to-face assessment.

You can also take advantage of First Aid CPR training offered by local chapters of the American Red Cross, American Safety and Health Institute, Emergency First Response, Medic First Aid International Inc., National Safety Council, Stonehearth Open Learning Opportunity, American Heart Association, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and EMS Safety Services or equivalent courses aprroved by Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains.
