Bronze, Silver, and Gold Award Workshops
The steps to earning the highest awards are rooted in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and the three keys to leadership: girls discover themselves and their values and explore the world, connect with others locally and globally, and take action to make the world a better place. We will focus on the new GSUSA Girl Award guidelines. Junior Troop Leaders, Cadette, Senior, Ambassador Girl Scouts are encouraged to attend with their leaders.

Retiring a Flag
Girl Scouts honor our country in many ways. This love and respect is evident in all flag ceremonies, especially when retiring a flag. Retiring a flag that has served its useful purpose originated with the American Legion National Convention in 1937. When a flag has become worn, or damaged, the proper way to dispose of it is through burning or burial. Girl Scouts learn how to perform this solemn ceremony and conduct it with the utmost respect.
