Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains, Inc. provides quality programs for over 26,000 girls in 81 counties covering 28% of Texas. Our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Our goal is for any girl wishing to be a Girl Scout to be able to fulfill that wish. Cookies! That's what most people think when they see a Girl Scout, but few people realize cookie sales only meets a small portion of funds needed to keep the local troops active.

Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains has been recognized by the Fort Worth area Better Business Bureau as a recipient of the Charity Seal Program and is only the 9th non-profit organization in the Fort Worth area to receive this coveted recognition. The Charity Seal Program is a nationally-authorized BBB program. Counties in the Fort Worth area Better Business Bureau include Erath, Hood, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant and Wise.
