Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains, Inc. provides quality programs for over 26,000 girls in 81 counties covering 28% of Texas. Our mission is to build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Our goal is for any girl wishing to be a Girl Scout to be able to fulfill that wish. Your participation can help us reach that goal!
Leadership experiences for girls are what make Girl Scouting unique. We help every girl, everywhere, discover who she can be, what she can do, however she chooses. Through real leadership programs, girls are given the opportunity to try on different roles and grow into the ones that fit her best – making her the leader in her own life.
Purse with Purpose is the Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains family philanthropy program. This giving program raises funds to pay for the cost of programming so that every girl, whether or not she has the financial means, can participate in Girl Scouts.
