Outdoor 101/Cabin Camping

Want to get "camp certified" to take your troop camping?  This is the time and place.  Two trainings  are combined into one to save you time.  The camp certified leader can be any adult(s) from the  troop.  The more, the merrier.  This overnight course starts on Friday night with  the Outdoor 101 course and then Saturday is the Cabin Camping course.

Outdoor 101 includes the basic knowledge required to take girls camping at both council and non-council facilities.  Participants will learn council policies, procedures, proper dress and camp rules.

In the Cabin Camping course, participants will learn fire building & safety, menu & activity planning, proper care of equipment, knots, and the basic concept of Leave No Trace.
