Outdoor 101

Get trained to take Girl Scouts camping in the out-of-doors with this course!

Outdoor 101 is the prerequisite for all outdoor classes. This class provides participants with the basic knowledge required to take girls camping at both council and non-council facilities. Participants will learn the 8 Basic Outdoor Skills, progression in the out of doors, Safety Procedures, Council policies, proper dress, and camp rules.

Feel free to bring your sack dinner with you and eat while we meet!

Participants will also have the option of calling in to the training if prior arrangments have been made.
