Archery- TWO SESSIONS - INTOWN & CAMP

 

MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS- INTOWN: MONDAY, OCTOBER 6TH, 6:00PM-9:00PM, FORT WORTH REGIONAL OFFICE AND 2ND SESSION, CAMP STEVENS RANCH, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11TH, 8:30AM-7:30PM

You will gain the basic skills of archery, learn how to set up and operate a safe short term program.

MUST ATTEND BOTH SESSIONS- INTOWN: MONDAY, OCTOBER 6TH, 6:00PM-9:00PM, FORT WORTH REGIONAL OFFICE AND 2ND SESSION, CAMP STEVENS RANCH, SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11TH, 8:30AM-7:30PM

 You will gain the basic skills of archery the “stance” and how to “set” properly holding the bow, positioning your thumb and fingers around the “bowstring”.  Learn Archery Safety while shooting the bow, “drawing” the bow and retrieving arrows. Maintaining the equipment is also part of this two session class along with how to teach archery to your troopusing create fun games introducing them to a new hobby or sport.  Certification is good for 3 years.  Level 1 Basic Instructor Course. Bring: sack lunch, snack, sun block, insect repellent, and a lawn chair to Oct 11th sesson at Stevens Ranch.   One-time fee for both sessions.
