This is a one day learning event for new volunteers! This class will provide you with the basic information regarding the mission, purpose, and history of Girl Scouts, as well as organizational structure, forms, and policies of the organization. You will also learn about the National Program Portfolio. We will guide you through the Leadership Experience, which is the heart of the Girl Scout program, and how the Journey books and Girl Guides can be used with and by the girls.
