Backpacking for Beginners
This is the first program of a three-part progression. Girls will learn about backpacking gear, how to set up camp, how to plan basic meals, conditioning for hiking with a pack and more! They'll also enjoy a weekend at Stevens Ranch putting those skills to use! Rentals are available for larger equipment for the beginner session. A required parent and girl meeting will be held at the Fort Worth Girl Scout office on February 26.
