In this advanced class you will learn how to achieve pack weight limits, design an emergency preparedness, plan, display basic skills for wilderness first aid, improvise wilderness shelter, adopt all Leave No Trace Principles, combine map and compass to navigate off trail and read a topographical map. Participants will travel to a state park or other natural area and hike at least 5 miles a day. Must attend both Intown & Camp Session & provide own gear. One time fee for both classes.
