Hearts of Service at Camp Rio Blanco
Join us for the Heart of Service Camp Program at Camp Rio Blanco! Our camp team has planned a great opportunity for troops to work on service projects for their favorite charity. This weekend is for troops that need more time and room to make or plan some service project for others in their community. Ideas may be making blankets for the homeless, or making dog toys to donate to the animal shelter, or making care packages for Women’s Protective Services. Those are just a few ideas and there are many projects that troops participate in during the holiday season. Whatever your plans are, come to camp and enjoy the outdoor atmosphere.
Two meals will be provided on Saturday – Breakfast and lunch.
There will also be a few more fun activities for everyone during this weekend. Come and relax, and make new friends and work to make a difference for others in our community.
Registration deadline: November 24th
Troops may elect to stay a second night, on their own. Make troop reservations for a site and be prepared to supply the additional meals and activities for your troop. An adult with Cabin Camping training must be with each troop and Girl/Adult ratios must be maintained.
