Calling All Early Birds!

Early Bird re-registration starts April 1st and ends June 15th!

Fall is hectic enough! Get a jump on paperwork by registering your returning girls and adults this spring.  Early Bird patch bracelets will be offered to all Girl Scout Troops that re-register before June 15th!

Why Early Bird?

1.       You get the 2013 re-registering out of the way and can start the year right away

2.       On-Time is open to all new and re-registering girls

3.       On-Time does not give a girl their patch, patches are purchased by the troop leader or parent

4.       Only Early Bird offers a shop incentive!

5.       Your 2012 membership ends September 30, 2012

Early Bird Re-Registration To Do List:

1.        Collect re-registration forms and $12.00 membership dues from each re-registering girl and adult.

  • Each registration form must be signed and dated.
  • Checks for membership dues should be made out to GS-TOP. We highly encourage that troop funds pay for the girls’ 2013 membership re-registrations.  A limited amount of financial assistance is available; forms are available through your Service Unit Registrar or your Regional office.
  • Cookie Bucks CANNOT be used to pay for membership registrations.
  • Complete a Membership Dues Summary, including correct number of girls and adults re-registering. Verify that the attached money equals the total amount of dues owed.
  • Each troop must re-register a minimum of two unrelated adults as the leadership team with each troop and 5 girls to qualify as a troop
  • Do NOT hold the troop’s re-registrations while waiting for one or two members; these can be turned in later. (Yes, they will still be eligible for the patch bracelet as long as the re-registration is returned by June 15th to the Service Unit Registrar or Regional office).

2.       Deliver completed re-registrations to your Service Unit Registrar no later than June 15, 2012 and you will receive a coupon compliments of your Girl Scout shop.

For questions, contact your Service Unit Registrar or Membership Specialist.
