2010 Cookie Sale and Program
Leap 2 Lead! Be the Change - ABC's new cookie theme focuses on leading change to make the world a better place. Leap 2 Lead urges girls to leap into leadership as they participate in cookie activities.
Leap 2 Lead reinforces the 15 Transforming Leadership Outcomes of the new Girl Scout Leadership Experience. It empowers girls to make a difference in their world.
Customers anticipate the sale of cookies each year, and purchasing a box of cookies not only satisfies a sweet tooth, it helps girls! The activity of selling cookies is directly related to the Girl Scout mission of helping all girls realize their full potential and become strong, confident, and resourceful citizens. Through the Cookie Sale, girls have the opportunity to discover their skills, connect through teamwork, and achieve their goals.
Over 24,000 Girl Scouts from eighty one counties in the Texas Oklahoma Plains Council will sell cookies this year. All cookies are only $3.50 per box, with all proceeds benefiting local Girl Scout troops. We have Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, Shortbread, Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Thanks-A-Lot, Lemonades and Daisy-Go-Rounds.

What's the BUZZ with Online Marketing?
Girls are online, and we need to be where girls are! GSUSA has adopted a new policy that opens the door for individual girls to promote sales of cookies and other products, and also to take order commitments online.
This policy is summarized in the two-page 411 on Online Marketing
Check out the updates to Safety-Wise that pertain to Product Sales on pages 6 - 10.
