To every Girl Scout Dad who...
... stood with his daughter, watching her grow in confidence.
... wiped away her tears.
... let her figure it out rather than just doing it himself.
... cheered her on every step of the way.
Thank you. We love our Girl Scout Dads.
What's your favorite Girl Scout Dad memory?
...After dinner we had big telescopes come to camp and we looked at the stars, Saturn has lots of rings and it is farther away than grandma’s house. I got to make a wish on a falling star, it is a lot like fireworks and I learned that the stars are like night lights, so I don’t need to be afraid of the dark anymore. The glow sticks you sent helped a lot too, I gave some to my new friends. It is bedtime now and I am laying here finishing this letter and thinking of how lucky I am that you...
Dear Mom and Dad,
One of my counselors sounds just like you mommy, I think she is my favorite now. She does so many things like you, she makes sure I drink water all the time, and that I have my hat on. She has me try food to see if I like it and she even helps me to remember to pick up my things and leave a place better than I found it. After breakfast we got to go to crafts I made a dream catcher, I get to bring it home with me. Then I got to ride a horse. At first it was scary...

Made of many roles, the SU Team ensures the delivery of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to our...
Did you know, Girl Scouts has a research institute? We do and they just put out some really cool info:
Being outside and doing outdoor Girl Scout activities is really, really good for our girls .
And you may be thinking, well, yeah of course. We hear all the time from parents and volunteers about how much our girls grow and learn through outdoor activities like hiking, day camp, or high adventure trips.
But now, it’s official: Girl Scouts and...
Past, present, and even future campers celebrated Camp Kiwanis' 85th Anniversary last year with a special celebration. Friends of the venerable camp were treated to guided hikes, a display of historial items and pictures, a "memory booth" courtesy of the local PBS affiliate, and of course, everyone joined in on an evening campfire and sing-a-long.
If your girl is going to...
A classic part of the Girl Scout experience is our annual Cookie Season. Our girls learn the five skills (goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics) and they have fun while running their very own business!
Take a stroll through memory lane with some fun cookie moments like Cookies Now!,...
