Call for Artists!

Girl Scouts are hosting their 2nd community art exhibit. All works of art will be on display at the Underwood Center for the Arts Icehouse during the March 6th First Friday Art Trial. Help us fill up the gallery! Girls and Adults are encouraged to create works of art that represent their favorite part of Girl Scouting! Girls can use this activity to earn their Legacy Artist badges. This can be an activity you do with your troop, on your own or with the help of family members. Painting, drawings, sculptures, photos, collages and more are accepted.

Camp Boothe Oaks Family Fun Day

Girl Scouts are invited to bring their families out to see what a wonderful camp we have right in our own backyard. We have a fun day planned to include a tour of the camp and family friendly games and activities. Please bring a picnic lunch. Each girl will receive a Family Fun patch.

Graffiti Blitz

Are you a whiz with a paint brush? Want to help a neighborhood look a little nicer? We'll work with the city of Fort Worth's Graffiti Abatement program to help cover up areas that have been tagged with graffiti. Get ready to roll up your sleeves to paint walls, pick up trash, and make the world a better place. We'll start together and split up to cover an area affected by  graffiti using latex-based paint.

Great American Cowtown Cleanup and Earth Party

Join in Fort Worth's largest community cleanup! You'll pick out one of many sites to clean up in your community, then work with your group and others to help clean up Fort Worth. After a morning of cleaning up the city, gather together for a free afternoon of food, fun, and information about how you can make the world a little greener everyday at the Earth Party at Sundance Plaza in downtown Fort Worth. Registered groups will receive trash bags, gloves, and a t-shirt. Groups indicating that they are Girl Scouts will also receive a special Cowtown Cleanup patch.

Volunteer in Training - Teen Mentoring Award

When girls guide or teach others, they act as mentors. Teen mentoring is a win-win proposition! One way a girl can be a teen mentor is to become a (VIT) Volunteer in Training to deepen her understanding of what leadership means and get excited about guiding others. While learning to be a champion mentor, girls deliver FUN with purpose to younger Girl Scouts. Note: Before girls attend this course, they must have mentored with a younger troop for a 3-6 month period.

Science Throwdown!

Each age level will have their very own scientist to coach them as they conduct hands-on experiments, prepare their scientist for the competition and complete projects to take home.

Will your scientist win?!

Girls will be grouped into their age group for the competition.

* Adult to Girl Ratio must be met for participants*
