Tour the Cowgirl Museum, Amon Carter Museum, Fort Worth Public Art Museum, Sid Richardson Museum, and Fort Worth Stockyards while learning about the faces and places of the West located right here in Fort Worth! Family Space Day at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History!

Bring your family and learn all about Space! You will see a show in the Planetarium and participate in other Space Activities. After the morning program, tour the museum with your free admission ticket! Price is $25 for one adult/child pair, and $5 for each additional person.

Bot Building II for Juniors and Cadettes!

Do you want to build a robot? Spend the morning with friends learning and building a special "Bot". This program is for Juniors and Cadettes. Bot Building I and Bot Building II are taught independently of each other. Each class will have different projects, and may be taken together or alone. After the workshop, spend the afternoon touring the museum with your complimentary admission. Girl check-in is at the Designer Studio, located on the museum’s main level in the Innovation Studios.

Girls Vs. the Wild - Twilight Trails Twilight Camp

Can you survive the wild west? Make a shelter, learn about different ways to signal others through smoke, flags, stones and sticks. Also what does SOS mean? Go on nature hikes, have a water day and on Thursday there will be a camp cookout, where campers will cook or prepare a part of the meal that they will have for dinner. Lockheed Martin is one of the biggest companies in the world that designs and builds military aircraft, cargo airplanes, and unmanned aircrafts. Mystery at the Museum

There's a mystery afoot at the Science Spectrum! Help us crack the case using the methods of professional forensic scientists. We'll sharpen our observational skills, dust for fingerprints with magnetic powder, and conduct scientific tests on fibers and blood. During the evening hours the campers will attend rotations of demonstrations, hands-on activities, free-time in the museum and viewing of a movie in the Omni Max Theater. It is a thrill to say, “I made it myself! ” Come learn how to use some basic tools, create some simple woodworking projects, and keep a “level” head about it. Help the planet, learn to use recycled materials in your projects. Don’t worry, you won’t miss out on other camp activities as well.

Red Cross Babysitting Course

Babysitting is a great way to earn that extra money you need for summer, service projects, and silver/gold awards. Most parents want their babysitters to have completed a babysitting course like the one offered by the American Red Cross. This course will teach you how to take care of a baby or child, safety, basic first aid, leadership and business skills, and resumes. You will receive a certificate of completion for the course, a Red Cross babysitting book, and your age level - Girl Scout First
