Program Aide and Volunteer in Training Course

This course if for girls who want to become either a Program Aide (Cadettes) or a Volunteer In Training (Seniors and Ambassadors).  Being a PA and/or VIT, is the perfect way to gain those leadership skills. Once you become a PA or VIT, you will be able to mentor younger Girl Scouts by sharing your skills, passions, and experience.

*** The following requirements must be completed before taking this course.  You can find the specifics in The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting for your age-level.

Bronze and Silver Award Workshop

The Bronze and Silver Awards are the highest awards that a Junior Girl Scout and a Cadette Girl Scout can earn.  This workshop will give you the information that you will need to help find the right take action project, manage the project, and complete the final report.  Both girls and adults will benefit from the activities and information at the workshop.

*** Please bring your copy of The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting for Juniors (if earning the Bronze Award) or The Girl's Guide to Girl Scouting for Cadettes (if earning the Silver Award).

Cookie Press Corp Training

We are looking for spokesgirls for cookie season and beyond.  You may get the chance to interview for TV, radio, or print as well as have some public speaking opportunities throughout the Girl Scout year.  You may even get to be a reporter for Girl Scouts during Cookie events.

Teen Mentoring Program Aide

When girls guide or teach others, they act as mentors. One way a girl can be a teen mentor is to become a Program Aide. While earning their PA Pin, girls deepen their understanding of what leadership development means and gain experience guiding others. Girls will learn how to be a champion mentor, as well as how to deliver fun program with a purpose to younger Girl Scouts. Note: Before girls attend this course, they must have earned their Leader-in-Action (LiA) award. Lunch will be provided.

Cookies Now! - Lubbock

This is NOT a troop event!  This is an individual girl and her parent/guardian event.

On this day come and help your daughter get a jump start on her Cookie Sale.  Come to the Cookies Now! pick up location, park  and check in and fill out a Cookies Now! permission slip.  Then get back in your car and enjoy the "drive thru" service we provide as we load your daughter's cookies in your car.

We make it easy so the girls can get started with their cookie business.
