Teen Mentoring Program Aide

When girls guide or teach others, they act as mentors. Teen mentoring is a win-win proposition! One way a girl can be a teen mentor is to become a Cadette Program Aide to deepen their understanding of what leadership development means and get excited about guiding others. While learning about to be a champion mentor, girls deliver fun with purpose to younger Girl Scouts. Note: Before girls attend this course, they must have earned the Leader-in-Action (LiA) award.

Cookies Now! - Lubbock

This is NOT a troop event!  This is an individual girl and her parent/guardian event.

On this day come and help your daughter get a jump start on her Cookie Sale.  Come to the Cookies Now! pick up location, park  and check in and fill out a Cookies Now! permission slip.  Then get back in your car and enjoy the "drive thru" service we provide as we load your daughter's cookies in your car.

We make it easy so the girls can get started with their cookie business.  

Bronze and Silver Awards Take Action Workshop - Wichita Falls

This event will take away the mysteries of earning a Bronze or Silver award. Join us as we explore the requirements for each of these awards. Juniors and Cadettes and their leaders and parents are encouraged to attend this event.

Girl Scout Family Night at Hurst Skateland!

SUMMER EXTREME - Spend a Family Friendly afternoon roller skating! Reconnect with your troop! Invite your friends to see how Girl Scouts Have Fun! This event is open to EVERYONE! Purchase tickets at the door on the night of the event. Price (includes traditional skate rentals) is $6.00 per skater or $12.00 for up to 4 immediate family members.

Girl Scout Family Day at the National Cowgirl Museum

Bring your family and friends to the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame! Come learn about the Wild West through our "Handbook of the West" Scavenger Hunt. Tour the Cowgirl Museum, Amon Carter Museum, Fort Worth Public Art Museum, Sid Richardson Museum, and Fort Worth Stockyards while learning about the faces and places of the West located right here in Fort Worth! Once it is completed, bring it back to the Cowgirl Museum to collect a prize. No registration is required. Purchase the Handboo

Family Space Day at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History!

Bring your family and learn all about Space! You will see a show in the Planetarium and participate in other Space Activities. After the morning program, tour the museum with your free admission ticket! Price is $25 for one adult/child pair, and $5 for each additional person.

Bot Building II for Juniors and Cadettes!

Do you want to build a robot? Spend the morning with friends learning and building a special "Bot". This program is for Juniors and Cadettes. Bot Building I and Bot Building II are taught independently of each other. Each class will have different projects, and may be taken together or alone. After the workshop, spend the afternoon touring the museum with your complimentary admission. Girl check-in is at the Designer Studio, located on the museum’s main level in the Innovation Studios.

Girls Vs. the Wild - Twilight Trails Twilight Camp

Can you survive the wild west? Make a shelter, learn about different ways to signal others through smoke, flags, stones and sticks. Also what does SOS mean? Go on nature hikes, have a water day and on Thursday there will be a camp cookout, where campers will cook or prepare a part of the meal that they will have for dinner. The camp is located outdoors with some parts in the shade and portable restrooms will be in use. Note: With only one way in and out of camp, parking is reserved for camp vol

Lockheed Martin is one of the biggest companies in the world that designs and builds military aircraft, cargo airplanes, and unmanned aircrafts. At their Fort Worth headquarters, Lockheed builds the F-16 Fighting Falcon and F-35 Lightning II in a factory that is a mile long! The F-35 is one of the most advanced technology fighter jets in the world.
