Let's Ride!

Girls going into 4th grade and older will have the opportunity to ride horses and learn about general grooming and care of horses. Adults are welcome to accompany girls but it is not necessary. Please ensure girls wear long pants and close toed shoes or boots, with at least a one inch heal. There is an area for picnicking if you would like to bring a sack lunch for after the event. Each girl will receive a Horse Riding fun patch.

Family Space Day at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History!

Bring your family and learn all about Space! You will see a show in the Planetarium and participate in other Space Activities. After the morning program, tour the museum with your free admission ticket! Price is $25 for one adult/child pair, and $5 for each additional person.

Girl Scout Family Day at the National Cowgirl Museum

Bring your family and friends to the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame! Come learn about the Wild West through our "Handbook of the West" Scavenger Hunt. Tour the Cowgirl Museum, Amon Carter Museum, Fort Worth Public Art Museum, Sid Richardson Museum, and Fort Worth Stockyards while learning about the faces and places of the West located right here in Fort Worth! A Night at the Plaza

Come see a full dress rehearsal of "Breaking Up is Hard to Do". This musical showcases 18 Neil Sedaka classics, including "Where the Boys Are", "Sweet Sixteen", "Calendar Girl", "Love Will Keep Us Together", and of course, the chart-topping title song. This will be open to Girl Scouts and their families only. This is a dress rehearsal, so there may be a few glitches but you will get to see how actors work. Every one attending will get a free popcorn. Girls will all receive a theater patch.

Scouts Night at the Fort Worth Cats

Calling all Girl Scouts! Bring all of your family and friends to Scouts Night at the Fort Worth Cats! They are having a friendly competition - Girl Scouts v. Boy Scouts. The Cats will make a donation to both Scouting Programs. However, whoever has the most in attendace will receive the 1st Place Donation! Reel Adventures Night for Scouts!

Discover the museum in a new way as you and your family roam our exhibits after hours on a scavenger hunt! As the lights dim, enjoy meeting historical characters and take part in cool activities during this unique experience. Once you've completed your journeym you will enjoy a fun filled movie "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian" in the Omni Theater, an IMAX Dome.
